Rave Squad (the "app") is a phone-only, offline squad-finder and messenger for festivals and events, published by Volcan X LLC ("we," "us"). Contact: xavier@volcanx.ai.
Nothing. We operate no servers and have no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We never receive your messages, your location, your contacts, your device identifiers, or any usage data. There is no account, no sign-up, no email, and no phone number.
No sharing, no selling. Because we never receive your data, we do not share or sell it with anyone — no analytics providers, advertisers, crash reporters, data brokers, or parent / affiliated companies. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are used under California's CCPA/CPRA, and we do not act as a data controller under the GDPR because we never receive your personal data.
Rave Squad works by sending data directly between phones over Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi (a "mesh") — not over the internet, and never through us:
Your identity is a key pair generated and kept on your device. Your display name is a label you choose; it is shared only with your squad over the mesh.
Rave Squad is free. If we ever offer an optional in-app purchase, it is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store: we do not receive or store your payment information, and any purchase entitlement is verified on your device via Apple's StoreKit. Payments are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Squad data lives only on the phones in your squad; deleting the app removes its data from your device.
Other people's phones: messages, cards, visuals, shared locations, and your display name that already reached squadmates remain on their devices — because there is no server, we cannot remotely wipe them. To stop sharing with a squad, open the squad's ⋯ menu and choose Leave squad (and turn off Location in iOS Settings), then delete the app. Ask your squadmates to delete anything you sent from their own devices.
Rave Squad is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone (it collects nothing from anyone).
This privacy page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may record standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser type) when you open this URL. That is ordinary web hosting and is separate from the app — the Rave Squad app itself transmits nothing to us.
